I painted this guy for a nature study class at the Naval Live Oaks in Gulf Breeze.  It's a National Park with tons of hermit crabs!  This is a striped hermit crab, our most common hermit on the Gulf Coast.  He'd look really cute in a beach themed bathroom or a sunroom.
