The Story of Juniper Wren's Nest
Hi, guys! I'm Meghan, but my friends call me Meg. I'm a native of the Florida panhandle. My fondest memories are of salty skin and sandy toes. I've been creating and drawing since my childhood. In high-school I fell in love with oil painting. It wasn't until we started homeschooling our boys that I taught myself how to watercolor. In my shop you will find nature inspired art especially animals from around the Gulf Coast, but. my favorite thing to paint is birds!
My shop is named after our daughter (Juniper Wren) who passed away in 2016. She motivates and inspires me every day. She is why I paint. I am more aware of all the beauty that surrounds me. It's the simple things like a warm cup of tea, morning light streaming through a kitchen window, the smell of fresh baked bread, Lightning Whelks hubby brings home from a dive, and dirty fingernails from the garden that make life so beautiful. I want to capture these simple daily treasures.

Not only do I have my art for sale here on my website, but you can find me at the Foley Art Center, Perdido Gallery and Gifts, and Artistic Framing in Pensacola! I also have a passion for wild life and refuge centers. If you're interested in supporting a great cause, many of my items can be found at the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge and the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center. Part of all proceeds help the animal ambassadors and residents there!
